The Boswells is a large 11-18 neighbourhood comprehensive school which offers a seven year education for students. Our community is vibrant, caring and successful with students attaining results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and ‘A’ level that are significantly above the county and national averages.

We recognize that every child has one school life and that together we must make it count. We want each child to be happy in school in order that each can succeed. We ask that parents actively support our behavioural and dress codes and work with us to develop the full potential of their child or children.

Our students have many opportunities to succeed across a wide range of studies and activities within the curriculum and beyond. As a specialist performing arts school our students enjoy and benefit from a wide range of superb facilities and activities within dance, drama and music. In sport our students regularly compete successfully at district, county, regional and national level. There are many other clubs and activities including a thriving series of inter-house competitions.

We have high expectations of every member of our community, staff and students alike, and promote and esteem the qualities of tolerance, courtesy and hard work in the daily life of the school.
